UzAuto Cepla is implementing an investment project to localize automotive components for UzAuto Motors
«UzAuto Cepla» JV LLC continues to implement a large-scale investment project aimed at developing the local production of high-tech automotive components for UzAuto Motors. Currently, the enterprise is preparing to launch the production of components for the vehicle's airflow control system (Air Baffle), which will be used in Onix and Tracker vehicles. The launch of serial production is scheduled for the end of 2026.
The total volume of foreign investment in the project is approximately 1.5 million US dollars. Within the framework of production preparation, a complex of work is performed to develop technological processes, manufacture production equipment, implement a quality control system, and train personnel. One of the key stages of the project will be the commissioning of a modern two-component automatic thermoplastic machine with a closing force of 1400 tons, which will become a unique equipment for the Republic of Uzbekistan and will allow the production of complex automotive components with a high level of localization.
The implementation of the project will achieve a localization level of about 90% and ensure annual currency savings of more than 1.2 million US dollars. The project will become an important contribution to the development of localization in the automotive industry of Uzbekistan, increasing the technological potential of the industry and strengthening cooperation between domestic manufacturers.
